Southwest Archeology - Weekend in Bluff, Utah
Tour the petroglyphs, structures, and pottery of the people of the San Juan River Basin. Examine different cultures understanding of the stars and astronomy in the evenings.

Improving Literacy: Strategies for the K-12 Classroom
This course covers the theory behind literacy and the cognitive aspects of learning. Topics include: analysis of the traditional methods of learning, the theory of Universal Design for Learning (Rose), and technology.

Architecture in San Miguel County
From mining sheds to mansions, this course will focus on local residential architecture. Through site investigations, research, and discussion, we will determine the popular, personal, and ecological significances of current living trends, learn sustainable design techniques, have tours by local experts, and build personal portfolios.

This course is for people considering starting a new business or those who have recently started a business and would like to gain more knowledges and ideas to help you grow your business. We will spend time on identifying opportunities, business planning, entrepreneurial finance, marketing, financing your business and overall small business management. The class will have some lectures but is primarily focused on case studies, and guest speakers to talk about their experiences.

Box 1621, Telluride, CO 81435, or deliver to UCSM at 220 East Colorado Avenue, #203, Telluride.  You may also fax your registration form to 970 369 5540, followed up immediately with payment.
  • 75% of tuition will be refunded if the student formally withdraws before the second meeting of the class.  No refund for withdrawal after that date.
